As a dual professional in landscape architecture and architectural history, she brings extensive experience providing technical guidance and preparing architectural plans from design through plans review. She has led historic resource surveys, local landmark designations, and historic district designations with accompanying design guidelines. She brings proven experience guiding private projects through public hearings, consistently securing approvals from local review boards across multiple jurisdictions.
An experienced Senior-Level Consultant exceeding the 36 CFR Part 61 qualifications for History and Architectural History, M.F. Grovenstein is also a Historical Landscape Architect with federal contracting experience supporting National Parks, National Monuments, and National Historic Landmarks. She has worked on projects across the Southeastern, Northeastern, and Southwestern United States, achieving successful regulatory approvals and environmental review outcomes. Her expertise includes Section 106 review, Phase III mitigation, coordination with federal agencies and state historic preservation offices, and historic resource evaluations under National Register, CEQA, and local criteria.
